Wedding Guests of 2016

The rise in local designers and accessories saw a lot of celebrities swapping their couture gowns for Khosi Nkosi, NN vintage and other African inspired outfits. The move back to the modern traditional look was also embraced by the public and really went a long way towards celebrating Africanism and blaXcellence.

Whether you want timeless style for a modern wedding guest outfit or something vintage for country wedding, here are a few celebrity outfits that we think would look great as wedding outfits.

The Peplum top
This floral printed peplum top is not only a perfect fit but a stunning garment that can be paired with a flared skirt, tulle or an A-line skirt like Thando Thabethe has.

Umbaco off shoulder dress
When Lupita graced our shores this year she wore a similar Khosi Nkosi uMbhaco dress. This off shoulder dress worn by Miss South Africa Ntando Kunene, hugs the body in all the right places.

Floral Flared dress
Mama NN Vintage aka Nhlanhla was a picture of perfection in this off shoulder floral flared dress with a matching choker. This is literally one of our favourite looks on her.

Printed A line dress
Prints or florals? We can't seem to decide. All we know is this Quitera and George number on Kefiboo is also perfect wedding guest material. Can we please have your clutch Kefi?
