Africans Killing it

From East to West – North to South; African men and women are taking centre stage. In music, fashion, beauty and different other spheres of industry. We look at some people who are killing it in their respective industries.

Music

Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage signed on to Roc Nation owned by none other than Jay Z and Diddy.  Earlier this year, Tiwa was seen mingling with the duo at a recent brunch hosted by Roc Nation in New York City.

She posed on the red carpet and posed for some photos with Jay Z and Sean 'Diddy' Combs at the event. Now, how is that for girl power?
Footwear

New kid on the block Ntando Duma is one of the ladies to watch out for. Her claim to fame is her character Zinzi whom she played on Rhythm city. This was shortly after she had set the screens alight with her energy and youthful exuberance on Craz-e.

She was recently announced as the face of sneakers brand Skechers and we couldn't be more proud. Skechers is an iconic, heritage brand that's been in the game for years now and for Duma to clinch this deal is pure gold.
Fashion

When he is not killing it at Milan Fashion Week or designing the latest Xhosa Inspired garments Laduma Ngxokolo is collaborating with Chivas SA to bring entrepreneurship and fashion to people in disadvantaged communities. Ngxokolo 's Laduma range has received international and local accolades.

His iconic Xhosa shawl was named the most beautiful item in South Africa at last year's Design Indaba.  He was recently nominated for by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation for promoting a positive of South Africa globally. Way to go Laduma, way to go!
