Black Coffee gets a nod for DJ Awards

DJ Black Coffee is doing what he does best, collecting accolades around the world!

DJ Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo has been nominated yet again for the International DJ Awards in the Deep House category.

This is not the first time Black Coffee represents Africa in these prestigious international awards held in Ibiza, Spain. In 2015, he walked away with two trophies, scooping the Breakthrough DJ of the Year and Dance Nation of the Year awards. He did it again last year when he took the Deep House award which he is also vying for this year again.

In the 2017 Deep House category, Black Coffee is up against global music heavyweights such as Damian Lazarus, Bedouin, Matthias Meyer, Lee Foss, Lee Burridge, Patrice Bäumel and Jane Cole.

The DJ Awards will be celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and the event will be on 26 September 2017. 

Black Coffee who is currently in Ibiza on his international tour has asked his fans to vote for him so he can bring the award back home.
