Archbishop Tutu wants the option to end his life

After celebrating his 85th birthday last week Friday Archbishop Desmond Tutu revealed that he would like to be given the assisted suicide option. Assisted suicide is the act of assisting a person in killing themselves; this is normally done for terminally ill patients to relieve them of suffering.

It is no secret that he's been in and out of hospital fighting infections from prostate cancer treatment.  In a video shared on his birthday Tutu is heard saying that death is part of life and he would like to be allowed the option of assisted death.
