Emtee promises young rappers a brighter future

Rapper Emtee is about to launch his own reality show which will target up and coming rappers who aspire to be one of the biggest stars in the rap game.

The award-winning rapper whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu told BET Africa that they are still developing the concept of how the show will look and feel but those who have talent might want to polish their rapping skills.

"We are still developing it. But it's a rap show. People will rap for me and the winner will walk away with a record deal," Emtee told BET Africa.

"Whoever wins, I'll sign them under my label," he added.

The young rapper who has started his own record company called African Trap also assured BET Africa that he is still with Ambitiouz and he is happy with the stable.

"I've started a label a while back and of course I am the founder and owner. Currently I have signed only two artists, Sims from Zambia and Just G who hails from East London," Emtee said about his label.

Speaking about his recent collaboration with Nasty C, he said it was only fitting to record such a song with Nasty C who recently won four awards at this year's Metro FM Music Awards.

"The title of the song is "Winning" and who could have been better than Nasty C. The song is from my debut album, it is the closing song so I wanted to close with a bang. And while we at it flaunt our achievement," he said.

At last the 2016 MMAs, Emtee was the star of the show where he walked away with four awards and he said after Nasty C did the same they had to flaunt a bit because they're "winning".
