SA is still mourning the loss of racing driver Gugu Zulu who died yesterday while trying to reach the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro for the #Trek4Mandela expedition. The #Trek4Mandela is an initiative aimed at raising funds in support of underprivileged girls.
Gugu’s friend TV personality Janez Vermeiren has announced that Gugu’s wife Letshego, has given him and some of his friends permission to open up a Trust fund aimed at helping the Zulu family.
“We have opened the bank account for the Gugu Zulu Family Trust we are establishing for them, through Waterford Financial Management,” Janez wrote on Instagram. He spoke kindly of Gugu and their friendship saying the race driver always gave his time to charities and used his good name to raise funds for others.

Dear Friends of Gugu Zulu, with Letshego's permission, we have opened the bank account for the Gugu Zulu Family Trust we are establishing for the family, through Waterford Financial Management. Gugu always gave of his time to charities and used his good name to raise funds for others. It is now time for us to give back and to ensure his beautiful wife and daughter are looked after. This is the best gift we can give a man who always gave the best of himself to us all. It is our goal to raise enough funds to see little Lelethu (princess Zulu) through her schooling and to bless Letshego, allowing her to grieve, safe in the knowledge that her family will be looked after. Please give back, even if you can only manage a little. The account details are: Account Name: Waterford - Gugu Zulu Family Trust Bank: Nedbank Limited Branch Code: 198765 Savings Account: 9019592539 These funds will be placed into the Gugu Zulu Family Trust which is in the process of being established. We can be contacted at info@gas-sports.com or stephen@gas-sports.com for any additional information. Please share and tweet to get this message far and wide.
