Lupita Nyong’o stepped out in a plunging neckline number for the opening night of the Broadway play “Eclipsed” in Gotham Hall, New York City. The emerald green dress featured side ruffles, which accentuated her petite figure.
The Oscar winner also features in the play about the Liberian Civil War. Eclipsed has made history by being the first play on Broadway to be written by, directed and produced by a black woman.
Award-winning director Liesl Tommy has described Eclipsed as a “thrilling story never told before. The story is about five extraordinary women brought together by upheaval in their war-torn homeland of Liberia. They become close during the despair and severe brutality of the African nation’s second civil war.
