Prince mourned the world over

South Africa has joined the rest of the world in paying tribute to a global superstar Prince who died at age 57.
International reports confirmed that the 57-year-old singer was found dead at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota on Thursday.
Just a week ago it was reported he suffered a mid-air health scare following a gig, forcing the pilot of his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois.
News of his passing broke on Thursday evening (South African time), causing social media to explode, with fans as well as international and local celebrities expressing their grief.
Prince is best known for amazing hits such as 'Diamonds & Pearls', 'Purple Rain', and 'Most Beautiful Girl in The World'.
Here are some heartfelt reactions by South African celebrities:

Thank You! For being true to your craft. I will forever be inspired. You were your authentic self in the international industry and stuck it out no matter what anyone said. A lesson that the SA industry and the people running it still need to understand... To do for the people, coz it's the people who need it the most. ❤️ You were always a King to me, and always will be. #embracetruetalent #givecreditwherecreditisdue
