Tbo Touch raises R1m for charity

Kodos to radio personality Tbo Touch for raising more than R1 million for charity at his event The Touch Invitation. Touch hosted his annual Touch Invitation, where players came together to raise funds for charity. He hosted business people for a game of golf at Steyn City on Monday.
The funds raised were donated to ‘Delivering happiness to Diepsloot’, a charity which donates school books, bags and shoes to the underprivileged children of the Diepsloot Township.
"How can I live in my home when a couple of metres from me there are children who don't even have shoes when going to school. It is up to us to open our hearts and our wallets to change. If you are in a position to give, then there is no excuse," Touch told TMG Entertainment.
Tbo Touch has been making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons, from being suspended by Metro FM to allegedly costing the station millions of Rands in revenue. However, all that is in the past and he is back on radio, most importantly he says he’s doing something close to his heart. Touch said he does not do charity events for praise but it is his life purpose which is helping those in need.
