Tbo Touch, real name Thabo Molefe, has been suspended from Metro FM for an alleged disagreement with his boss.
‘Touch’ has been off radio for a week and it has been a mystery to his listeners who were left wondering where he is.
Rumours surfaced, suggesting that Tbo Touch was taken off air because he wanted his Monday gospel segment, Monday Replenishment, to be an hour-long, while Mtshali wanted the segment to be 20 minutes long.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago denied that Tbo Touch was taken off his show due to his alleged argument with management.
Kganyago said there are “various issues‚” which he refused to divulge, that led to the radio personality being absent from his drive time slot.
“There is no feud between Sibongile and Tbo Touch‚ that I know of. There are various issues that the management is dealing with regarding Tbo Touch’s role on Metro FM. However‚ until those issues are solved‚ he will be off air,” he said.
Last year, he was suspended by the station for allegedly promoting his own products on air. He also got into trouble recently when he refused to conduct a telephonic interview with rapper Cassper Nyovest.
