Nigerian-American singer, Jidenna is set to tour Nigeria and South Africa as part of the promotion for his debut album, ‘Long Live The Chief’.
The ‘Classic Man’ hit singer will be in Nigeria late August for a promotional tour which will include an album launch event featuring a live performance at Hard Rock Café in Lagos.
During his visit, he's set to film a documentary about his journey back to his childhood home of Enugu.
“The record as a whole represents all my experiences of the many worlds I’ve lived in and travelled through from Lagos to Los Angeles,” Jidenna said.
Once he wraps his Nigerian tour, he'll will move to further down to South Africa.
Quoted by a South African publication, The Citizen, Jidenna said he feels more at home when he is in Durban. "With me being from West Africa, Durban feels more filled with tradition than any other city in South Africa," Jadinna said.
The singer also promised to link up with African artists he met during the BET Awards in June for some collaboration talks.
