The most elite horseracing event took place in Cape Town over the weekend. This two-day event saw the crème de la crème of SA celebrities strut their stuff in couture gowns and tuxedos.
Judging from celebrity Instagram pages, thieL’Omarins Queen’s Plate was as always about big hats, plunging necklines, sheer dresses and our favourite – men in fitted suits. Ah, and the races, yes!
Now in its 15th year running, this affair is class personified, and so are its guests. Now, over to the best dressed people!
Bonnie Mbuli brought all the hot sauce in this pale blue plunging neckline number by Rose Molteno. Her dark lip, fascinator and bold jewellery pieces did the most for this look.
Boity looked angelic and all woman in an all-white Quitera and George pants and peplum top. She was decked out in Mimco accessories.
This was a refreshing look for her and a nice change to the sheer jumpsuits she normally wears on the red carpet. Boity was also pictured with her ex bae Khaya Dlanga at the races. Love back, guys?
Designer David Tlale who’s usually loyal to black showed us that he can do white too. He looked like a dream in white cropped pants and an oversized jacked. He posed for a snap with former Miss SA Tatum Keshwar also sizzled in this hot little white number and a pop of red lips.
Undoubtedly the best dressed man for the day and awarded the honour was Founder of DM Bespoke Suits, Mthoko Masondo who looked dapper in a baby blue tailored suit, white shirt, hat and a cigar on hand. Oh yum!
