We know why Drake was in Africa

Drake released a short film called Please Forgive Me which is inspired by his latest album Views and yep, some scenes were shot in the motherland. There were many speculations surrounding his visit at that time and people thought that he was in Africa to shoot a music video for One Dance which features Wizkid and SA producer Maphorisa.

The film was released as a surprise on Apple Music exclusive early Monday morning and was shot in Johannesburg. The film is inspired by Hollywood blockbusters like The Bourne Identity and Taken. Other parts of the film were shot in Namibia.

Drizzy shared a teaser on his Instagram.
