Media personalities Somizi, Khanyi Mbau and Ntombi Ngcobo are allegedly failing to entertain Metro FM listeners. The three took over the morning slot from Mo Flava and Lerato Kganyago about two weeks ago and already the show is being reviewed after the station received a number of complaints from listeners.
The trio host the 8-10am slot called Whose Show Is It Anyway. It looks like the celebrity status is not enough to impress the listeners who think that one should at least have radio background to qualify for this job or start with a graveyard shift at least.
Some have called on the listeners to allow the trio to learn and grow, but the fed up Metro FM listeners would not take it.

A: The show belong to some graduates sitting at home with diploma/degree in broadcasting. #WSIIA
The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) confirmed that they will be looking into the complaints and to why the show hasn’t been working to the listener’s favour. SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says “The show has been on the air for just one week, and I think most of the negative comments about the show have been emotional,”
“Obviously, management would have to do a thorough evaluation of exactly what it is about the show that is causing the outcry, but they cannot just base their findings only on the audience’s reaction. But we’re aware of the negative comments about the show,” Kaizer Kganyago told Sowetan.
This is what Somizi said after their first week on the show.
Should the trio be given a chance to prove themselves?
